Prime Video’s latest series Swarm is causing quite the conversation. Created by Janine Nabers and Donald Glover, Swarm stars Dominique Fishback as Dre, a young woman obsessed with a fictional pop star named Ni’Jah, and turns to violence when anyone badmouths her fav. Along with drawing comparisons to a very famous artist and her fans, Swarm attempts to draw attention to the dangerous levels of obsession that can come with idolizing celebrities but falls a bit short.
Damson Idris, Rory Culkin, Chloe Bailey, Leon, Mezi Atwood, Kiersey Clemons, Rickey Thompson, Karen Rodriguez, and Nirine S. Brown also appear in the original series.
