“Viewers beware, you’re in for a scare” because the anticipated release of the “Goosebumps” movie trailer is here!
Jack Black is R.L. Stine in the film based on the popular young adult horror book series turned television program, and now into a movie. The premise follows Zach Cooper (Dylan Minnette) and his mother moving to a new town where Cooper befriends the cute girl next store Hannah (Odeya Rush) with the creepy uncle. Unbeknownst to Zach and his pal (played by Ryan Lee), they stumble upon original manuscripts of the Goosebumps series that are under lock and key and end up unleashing every Goosebumps creature into the town.
In the trailer, all the creatures are released and the band of Goosebumps lovers must come together to trap them back in their place. I’m not going to lie, I’m a little disappointed the trailer featured that goofy music and not the original theme song. That would have really sold me on the film. Hopefully they are saving that for the actual release in the fall.
“Goosebumps” will be in theaters October 16, 2015, until then, you can watch the Goosebumps series streaming on Netflix.
