Excuse while I freak out because this is a huge deal! The first movie poster for “Goosebumps,” the popular young adult horror books by R.L Stine turned film, has been released and it has everything fans, points hard at myself, of the beloved book series could hope for.
On the first look we see Jack Black as the horror genre storyteller R.L. Stine along with who appears to be Dylan Minnette and Odeya Rush, who play Zach Cooper and Hannah in the film out this fall. The plot follows a young kid (Minnette) “teaming up with the niece of young adult horror author R.L. Stine after the writer’s imaginary demons are set free on the town of Greendale, Maryland.”
The poster also includes some of the iconic frightening figures from the book series including: the evil ventriloquist dummy, the garden gnomes that came to life at night, that werewolf from the camp story and more.
Stay tuned, GGB will be posting the trailer as soon as it’s available. “Goosebumps” the movie will be in theaters October 16, 2015.
