The Official Trailer for “Him” Brings Fear to Football

Tyriq Withers stars as Cameron Cade in “Him,” a rising-star quarterback who has devoted his life, and identity, to football. On the eve of professional football’s annual scouting Combine, Cam is attacked by an unhinged fan and suffers a potentially career-ending brain trauma. Then Cameron gets a Hail Mary when his hero and legendary eight-time Championship quarterback and cultural megastar Isaiah White (Marlon Wayans) reaches out to him with an offer to train him at his isolated compound he shares with his celebrity influencer wife, Elsie White (Julia Fox).

As the training progresses, Isaiah’s charms fade and Cameron is sent into a disorienting rabbit hole that may cost him more than he ever bargained for. “Him” is said to be a chilling journey into the inner sanctum of fame, idolatry and the pursuit of excellence at any cost.
