Based on the screenplay of the 2022 Christian Tafdrup and Mads Tafdrup written film comes a remake with “Speak No Evil” starring James McAvoy, Mackenzie Davis, and Scoot McNairy.
In the film an American family is invited to spend the weekend at the idyllic country estate of a charming British family they befriended on vacation. The dream holiday turns into a nightmare when the British hosts begin to play psychological games. Christian Tafdrup and Mads Tafdrup are back as writers in the remake along with James Watkins, who is also directing this one. Alix West Lefler, Aisling Franciosi, and Daniel Hough are also featured in the film.
“Speak No Evil” comes to theaters September 13, 2024.
