One thing the Euphoria girls are going to do is slay in the horror genre. Hunter Schafer is taking her turn in the terrifying genre starring in the upcoming thriller “Cuckoo” written and directed by Tilman Singer and also starring Dan Stevens and Jessica Henwick.
In the film Schafer plays Gretchen, a 17-year-old who reluctantly leaves America to live with her father who recently moved into a resort in the German Alps with his new family, but something isn’t quite right in the tranquil paradise. Soon Gretchen has disturbing visions and starts down an eerie path to discover a shocking family secret. I don’t know what’s going on in this trailer, but I want to know what’s going to happen in this movie.
“Cuckoo” is expected for an August 9, 2024 release date.
