‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 Is Officially In Production

The award-winning HBO series The White Lotus is headed to Thailand for the upcoming season and it’s now in production.

Created by Mike White, The White Lotus was initially set to be a limited series when the show debuted in July 2021, but the success led HBO to continue it as an anthology series that features a new cast and location each season. Season one starred Connie Britton, Alexandra Daddario, Fred Hechinger, Jake Lacy, Brittany O’Grady, Natasha Rothwell, Sydney Sweeney, Steve Zahn, Lukas Gage, Jolene Purdy, Kekoa Kekumano, Jennifer Coolidge, and Murray Bartlett.  The first season earned 10 Primetime Emmys including one of the top honors of Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series.

Season 2 premiered in October 2022 and went from Hawaii to Italy. Jennifer Coolidge and Jon Gries reprised their roles in the second season with Will Sharpe, Aubrey Plaza, Meghann Fahy, Theo James, Adam DiMarco, F. Murray Abraham, Beatrice Granno, Tom Hollander, Sabrina Impacciatore, Michael Imperioli, Haley Lu Richardson, Simona Tabasco, Leo Woodall, Federico Ferrante, Eleonara Romandini, and Federico Scribani starring in the cast.

On Instagram, a slate revealed the anticipated third season is officially underway with a caption reading, “Unforgettable experiences are in the making at #TheWhiteLotus. We are eager to welcome new guests to our resort in Thailand.”

Natasha Rothwell will reprise her season 1 role with Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Christian Friedel, Shalini Peiris, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Nicholas Duvernay, Lalisa Manobal, Scott Glen, and Julian Kostov leading the cast for season 3.
