The “Barbie” movie was one of the biggest films of 2023. Directed by Greta Gerwig, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling starred in the film as Barbie and Ken, and as great as the film was it lacked one major element…a chaotic yet loving dynamic between Barbie and Ken. Thanks to W Magazine a glimpse of what could have been was shown.

As part of W Magazine’s The Best Performances issue 2024, Robbie and Gosling were featured and sat down with W’s Lynn Hirschberg for a candid screen test interview. During the sit down the pair shared insight on their first acting gigs, what movies make them cry, hidden talents, and more. I’m going to need this pair in more projects together ASAP so more interviews like this can keep coming.
