Jamie Foxx is one of the best multi-talented artists I can think of. He can act, he can sing, and he’s effortlessly funny. The Academy Award-winning actor has starred in films like “Ray,” which he earned his Oscar for, “Django Unchained,” “Dreamgirls,” “Just Mercy,” “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” and more recently “Strays,” “They Cloned Tyrone,” and “Day Shift.”

His filmography shows off his range, but for me, Jamie really shines when he sings. He has five albums under his belt and often uses his singing prowess during late-night talk show appearances. To celebrate the star’s 56th birthday below are 6 of Jamie Foxx’s Best Singing Moments.

Jamie Foxx and Jimmy Fallon had some pretty great moments together on The Tonight Show, another will be listed below. For the Musical Genre Challenge, the pair take popular songs and sing them in different musical styles. Just watch Jamie slay “Who Let the Dogs Out” as a Broadway musical.

The Graham Norton Show is one of my favorite talk shows. Guests always seem to be their most relaxed and charismatic selves when on that show. While promoting “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, and Jamie Foxx appeared on the show. The conversation turned to Jamie’s hit song “Storm (Forecass)” from his 2005 “Unpredictable” album and well…just watch.

Jamie appears on The Tonight Show again to sing down and this time he shows off not only his singing talent but his ability to effortlessly impersonate celebrities. During Wheel of Musical Impressions, a random song appears along with a famous singer and you must accept the challenge. When you hear Jamie sing the Toys “R” Us jingle as John Legend you’ll never sing the jingle the same.

Online dating can be brutal, trust me I’ve dabbled, but maybe they wouldn’t be such a chore if Jamie Foxx was involved. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jamie had some fun singing Tinder profiles and this made dating apps much more bearable.

Jamie Foxx got his start doing stand-up comedy and sketch comedy in In Living Color. His self-titled sitcom ran from 1996-2001 and followed Foxx as the lead who moved from Texas to LA to pursue a career in show business. Jamie had several jobs on his way to stardom and one included writing jingles. One of the most memorable moments from The Jamie Foxx Show was the infamous “Jingle Off” between Nicole (Rhona Bennett) in season 4, episode 6 “The Ugly Truth.”

Finally, back in 2013 Foxx and Channing Tatum starred in the action drama “White House Down,” but one of the most entertaining interactions was on Jimmy Kimmel Live when “I Wanna Channing All Over Your Tatum” was born.
