Julia Stiles Joins ‘SNL’ Cast Member Chloe Fineman For A ‘Save the Last Dance’ Holiday Treat

One thing about me to know is how obsessed I was with “Save the Last Dance” when the movie came out in 2001. I saw it countless times in theaters and by the time it came out on VHS, yes VHS, I was able to recite that movie like it was nothing so anytime “Save the Last Dance” is referenced it’s always going to bring a big smile on my face.

During this weekend’s Saturday Night Live episode, Adam Driver returned to host the long-running sketch comedy series for the fourth time with musical guest Olivia Rodrigo, but the highlight for me came during Weekend Update.

During Weekend Update with hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che, Jost introduced SNL cast member Chloe Fineman as she discussed her intimate holiday gift idea: performing a sexy dance. The sexy dance she performed was the dance Julia Stiles did at the end of “Save the Last Dance.”

Later, Julia herself joins Chloe as the two perform Sara’s iconic Julliard audition number. I didn’t know I needed this until I got it.
