‘American Horror Story: Delicate’ Releases First Teaser with Emma Roberts, Kim Kardashian and Cara Delevingne

The current SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) and WGA (Writers Guild of America) strike in Hollywood is leaving a bunch of upcoming productions in limbo; and with good reason. We literally wouldn’t have TV shows and films without actors and writers. So pay them fairly already!

An official teaser for the 12th season of American Horror Story was released, but who knows if the season will really premiere in full this year.  A reveal for Season 12 first came on Monday, April 10 with the announcement that Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian would lead the upcoming season.  An article for The Hollywood Reporter revealed Kim’s role was written with her in mind and for the first time in the show’s history, the season will be written and showrun by a single writer, Halley Feiffer. Ryan Murphy, co-creator of American Horror Story, said season 12 is “ambition and unlike” anything done before.

This season is also said to be influenced by Danielle Valentine’s upcoming novel Delicate Condition described as “a gripping thriller about a woman who becomes convinced that a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens.”

Cara Delevingne is also slated to appear in the new season and the official teaser showed the lead actresses in platinum blonde wigs. The last few seasons of American Horror Story have been very lackluster to me, but I’ve been riding with this series for over a decade so I’m loyal enough to continue watching. The upcoming season is slated to be “coming soon” so GGB will keep you posted.
