A New Game Falls Into Place In The ‘Saw X’ Official Trailer

It’s time to play a game and get ourselves reawakened into the “Saw” franchise. I would consider myself a hardcore fan of the “Saw” franchise and have faithfully watched all installments whether I enjoyed them or not, but the idea of “Saw X” has me particularly intrigued since the timeline falls in line with the BEST ones in my opinion.

The official synopsis from Lionsgate reads as followed. “John Kramer (Tobin Bell) is back. The most disturbing installment of the Saw franchise yet explores the untold chapter of Jigsaw’s most personal game. Set between the events of Saw I and II, a sick and desperate John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer – only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous serial killer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through devious, deranged, and ingenious traps.”

Directed by Kevin Greutert and written by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger, “Saw X” brings back not only Bell, but Jigsaw’s protegee Amanda (Shawnee Smith). I’m so curious to see how this all fits together. If you’re a “Saw” fan then you know those finals moments are when things get jaw dropping.

Just in time for Spooky Season, “Saw X” comes to theaters on September 29, 2023.
