Listen to Halle Bailey’s Version of ‘Part of Your World’ From ‘The Little Mermaid’ Soundtrack

Disney’s live-action “The Little Mermaid” is one of the most anticipated films of 2023 with Halle Bailey taking on the iconic role of Ariel. If you’re a fan of Disney films then you know the music is just as important as the actual film.

Halle Bailey rose to musical fame with her sister Chloe with their singing duo Chloe x Halle so we know the range is there. She also has acting experience under her belt having played Sky Forster in Grown-ish for 4 seasons and has two upcoming films (“The Line” and “The Color Purple”) on her roster, but can Halle fully embody Ariel?

The biggest song for Ariel in the original “The Little Mermaid” is the “Part of Your World” song. Halle’s version has been teased in clips from the upcoming live-action film, but now the full version can be heard. Halle channels Jodi Benson’s Ariel but does a wonderful job of playing on the track along with inciting excitement and making the iconic song her own.

“The Little Mermaid” soundtrack releases on May 19 and the film comes to theaters the following week on May 26.
