The “Barbie” movie isn’t even out yet and I know it’s going to be my favorite thing in the entire world, and I’m not exaggerating. The teaser 2 trailer for “Barbie” shows more of Barbie land as viewers meet Barbies, Kens, and even Allan.
From Oscar-nominated writer/director Greta Gerwig, Margot Robbie perfectly stars in the titular role with Ryan Gosling as her Ken. Not too much detail about the plot is known outside of the official synopsis which reads, “To live in Barbie Land is to be a perfect being in a perfect place. Unless you have a full-on existential crisis. Or you’re a Ken.” What we do know from the teaser 2 trailer is how wonderfully perfect this film looks.
On Tuesday, April 4 the teaser 2 trailer dropped along with character posters. America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Ariana Greenblatt, Emerald Fennell, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, Will Ferrell, Ana Cruz Kayne, Emma Mackey, Hari Nef, Alexandra Shipp, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Scott Evans, Jamie Demetriou, Connor Swindells, Sharon Rooney, Nicola Coughlan, Ritu Arya, Dua Lipa and Helen Mirren make up the stellar ensemble cast.
“Barbie” comes to theaters nationwide on July 21, 2023 and beginning internationally on July 19, 2023.
