April 2023 Watch List (Streaming and Theater Releases)

Spring has officially sprung and that means there are a bunch of films and TV shows premiering and returning this quarter. One show that I’m obsessed with is Scmigadoon!. I decided to watch the premiere episode one night while scrolling through Apple TV+ and I’ve been hooked ever since and am anxiously awaiting the season 2 release. Another season 2 premiere I’m waiting for is From on MGM+. I love the horror genre and this show perfectly encapsulates everything that makes horror great.

“Praise This” is a new movie coming to Peacock and follows a youth choir’s journey to a music competition. The plot is pretty cliche, but I think the highlight is going to be the soundtrack and I love a soundtrack. There’s also some true crime, rom-com, and thriller projects releasing this month that made my watch list.
