What happens when your perfectly curated life is threatened by unknown strangers who show up in your life? That’s the premise of Netflix’s upcoming drama-thriller “The Strays.”
Ashley Madekwe stars in “The Strays” as Neve Williams, an upper-middle class woman who seemingly has it all together. She lives in the perfect home with her husband and two children. She has a perfect job as a professor and she appears to have a perfect life, but two strangers have been lurking around and showing up at her home and workplace. Is this all in her imagination? Is she running from a dark past? The trailer teases just that. I love a British thriller whether it be a series format or film, so I’m marking my calendar for this one.
Justin Salinger, Michael Warburton ,Samuel Paul Small, Caroline Martin, Bukky Bakray, and Maria Almeida also appear in the film. Written and directed by Nathaniel Martello-White, “The Strays” streams on Netflix on February 22.
