One of the highlights of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2” for me was baby Groot hands down! Whenever that adorable tree creature came on screen I couldn’t help but smile, so the fact that Disney+ is having an entire series dedicated to his mini nature is making me so happy.
“A hero of few words returns” in I Am Groot with Vin Diesel back to voice the character he’s played for five Marvel films thus far. Bradley Cooper is also slated to voice Rocket, Groot’s bestie, in the animated series as well. I Am Groot will be a collection of five Original shorts. The specific plot lines of those shorts have not been released but in the trailer Groot seems to be inhabiting some planet while coming under attack, dancing alongside himself in another instance, and trying out different grass attire. All I know is if Baby Groot is in it then I’m invested.
