Jacob Anderson Stars In AMC Series Version of Anne Rice’s ‘Interview With The Vampire’

Anne Rice’s 1976 novel Interview With The Vampire is getting a modern retelling with AMC’s upcoming series of the same name starring Jacob Anderson, Sam Reid, Bailey Bass, and Eric Bogosian.

While the official plot of AMC’s Interview With The Vampire is under wraps, from the first trailer released during San Diego’s Comic Con it seems it won’t be too far away from the storyline in the 1994 film “Interview With The Vampire” starring Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Christian Slater, and Kirsten Dunst.

Jacob Anderson will play Louis de Pointe du Lac, played by Pitt in the 1994 movie. Louis is a businessman of sorts in New Orleans being hunted by Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid). Lestat wants to offer Louis a new life of immortality, but it turns out not to be as glamorous as perceived.
