Disney+ Releases The First Teaser For Upcoming Live Action ‘Pinocchio’ Film

When you wish upon a star, you get the official teaser trailer for Disney’s upcoming live-action “Pinocchio” film. While “Pinocchio” might not be on my top Disney animated films list, I’m still a sucker for Disney content so sign me up.

Directed by Academy Award winner Robert Zemeckis, the live-action “Pinocchio” will retell the story we already know about a wooden puppet’s quest to become a real boy. Tom Hanks plays Geppetto, the woodcarver who builds Pinocchio (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth). Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Jiminy Cricket aka Pinocchio’s conscience and Cynthia Erivo plays the Blue Fairy. Keegan-Michael Key, Lorraine Bracco, Kyanne Lamaya, Sheila Atim, Giuseppe Battiston, Lewin Lloyd, and Luke Evans also have major roles in the film.

“Pinocchio” comes to Disney+ on Thursday, September 8
