Over the weekend Jonathan Majors (Lovecraft Country/“The Harder They Fall) hosted Saturday Night Live with musical guest Taylor Swift. I admit I didn’t catch the live show, but I did come across one of the sketches that I found to be absolutely perfect.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is a rap group from the 1990’s, if you aren’t familiar, that had the iconic “Tha Crossroads” track that was probably a staple for anyone who lost someone. It’s a meaningful track that SNL put a comedic spin on, as only SNL does.

Majors along with SNL cast members Kenan Thompson, Ego Nwodim, and Chris Redd posed as the rap group who now own a pet store specializing in…selling bones. The ad for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s Dog Bones n Melodies parodies “Tha Crossroads” breaking down all the type of bones sold in the store. Clever way of using the song and the name of the group.

Watch the pet store ad for “Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s” Dog Bones n Melodies in the clip below. Do you find this sketch funny? Share your thoughts in the comments.
