Jennifer Lawrence Breaks Down The Official Trailer for Netflix’s ‘Don’t Look Up’

Netflix’s upcoming film “Don’t Look Up” brought together some of Hollywood’s biggest names for one of the most anticipated films of 2021.

Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio star as Kate and Randall, two low-level astronomers who discover a comet is heading towards Earth and the impact will indeed destroy the planet. The pair go on a media tour to get the word out to mankind after their attempts to seek aid from the president of the U.S. fails.

Written and Directed by Adam McKay, the star-studded film also features Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Timothée Chalamet, Cate Blanchett, Melanie Lynskey, Ron Perlman, Michael Chiklis, Mark Rylance, Ariana Grande, Tyler Perry, Kid Cudi, and a rumored small appearance from Chris Evans.

Lawrence sat down with Vanity Fair to break down the official trailer and offer some behind-the-scenes scoop on the project.

“Based on real events that haven’t happened – yet,” “Don’t Look Up” will be in select theaters on December 10 and streams on Netflix December 24.
