HBO Max Releases ‘Friends’ Reunion Date and Teaser To Gets Fans Excited

They’ll be there for you…in two weeks!

I feel like I say this in every post lately, but it’s so true. The pandemic pushed back a lot of projects that were supposed to be released in 2020. The anticipated reunion of Friends which will premiere on HBO Max was one of those projects, but now the reunion is finally coming and sooner than I think anyone thought.

In the teaser for the special called Friends: The Reunion, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, and Matt LeBlanc are seen walking on the Warner Bros. studio lot where the series was shot from 1994 to 2004 for 10 seasons. Nothing much is shown, but the words “The one where they get back together” in the standard Friends font.

There is no word on how long the special will be, but it has an odd list of special guests that will appear on the show. David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Larry Hankin, Kit Harington, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai are all slated to appear. Many fans are upset Paul Rudd wasn’t included, and I mean same. The show had such an awesome roster of guest stars throughout the series so this list is very peculiar and I’m anxious to see how they will be included.

Friends: The Reunion comes to HBO Max exclusively on Thursday, May 27.
