There’s no denying that no matter how old you get the holiday season is something magical. Netflix is tapping into some of that magic with its upcoming musical “Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey.”
The delightful, lively town of Cobbleton serves as the backdrop to the tale of legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle (Forest Whitaker). His inventions are well known and very much coveted by his once trusted apprentice (Keegan-Michael Key) who sets out to steal his greatest invention. With the help from his granddaughter Journey (Madalen Mills), the two embark on a quest to reawake the magic of Christmas. Written and directed by David E. Talbert, Anika Noni Rose and Phylicia Rashad also appear in the film with original songs by John Legend, Philip Lawrence, Davy Nathan, Usher and Kiana Ledé.
