The Second ‘Birds of Prey’ Trailer Teases More Of The Superheroes Powers Plus Megan Thee Stallion & Normani Drop Single From Soundtrack

For someone who hasn’t seen a comic book driven film since “Suicide Squad” in 2016 I sure am hype to see Margot Robbie reprise her Harley Quinn role in the stand alone character film “Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).” It’s probably largely part for Harley Quinn. I was obsessed with her and The Joker, toxic I know, but I really loved how Robbie and Jared Leto portrayed the comic legends. I need to do some more digging about the history of the characters to get ready for BOP, but I’ll be ready by next month.

In October the first trailer for “Birds of Prey” was released teasing the new squad of female superheroes Harley teams up with following her break up with Mr. J. In the second trailer viewers see how Harley initially handled her breakup from The Joker and how she has a bounty on her head from villain Black Mask (Ewan McGregor). Quinn must band together with the likes of Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez) to help a young girl who is wanted from a crime lord.

Along with the second trailer, the first single from the anticipated album associated with the movie dropped. Megan Thee Stallion and Normani teamed up for “Diamonds” in a music video that mimicked the badass essence of the movie. [WATCH BELOW]

Other artists featured on the “Birds of Prey” soundtrack include: Doja Cat, Saweetie, Halsey, Summer Walker, Black Canary (played by Jurnee Smollett-Bell), and more. The album is expected to release the same day as the movie.

“Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)” comes to theaters February 7, 2020.
