‘I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus’ Gets A Hilarious ‘SNL’ Twist

I hope you all are enjoying this holiday season with the people who mean the most to you no matter what form they come in. I’m grateful to have another holiday season with my family and you all of course, my GGB family. So for this GGB Holiday I want to share a hilarious video to get you all in the festive spirit.

We all have our favorite music to play during Christmas time. The good ole classics are for sure on my playlist and now that I’m older I’m actually listening to words in the songs. “Grandma Got Run over by a Reindeer” by Elmo & Patsy is one of those songs that truly is comical to me and now “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” is another song that I see in a different light thanks to Saturday Night Live. 

A few weekends ago Scarlett Johansson hosted SNL and starred in a sketch that shed a new light on the classic “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.” The song tells the story of a child witnessing the mom in the song smooching Santa Claus, but not knowing it’s the dad really dressed as the legendary Christmas figure dropping off presents.

In the clip SNL cast member Cecily Strong served as the child sneaking a peek at her mommy (Johansson) kissing Santa (SNL cast member Beck Bennett), but upon further looking she realized that daddy was also there all along and her parents are into some pretty strange things.
