An Adult Dannny Torrence Channels “The Shining” Gifts In Eerie “Doctor Sleep” Trailer

Here’s Danny!

Some 40 years later Danny Torrance, aka the “Redrum” kid from the 1980 horror flick “The Shining,” must channel his unique powers to help a young girl with similar gifts who may be in danger from a cult who wants to use her.

Based on the novel by Stephen King, Ewan McGregor plays Torrance all grown up  in “Doctor Sleep,” but still experiencing trauma from the frightening events that took place at the Overlook Hotel when he was a child. Danny encounters Abra Stone (Kyliegh Curran) who also has the “shine” powers and is being hunted by Rose the Hat (Rebecca Ferguson) and her cult known as The True Knot who seek out people with the “shine” for immortality. Danny and Abra team up to defend themselves and those like them from The True Knot and unleashing unimaginable powers.
