Is Arya Stark Fated To Die During The Battle Of Winterfell?

Come Sunday, April 28th we will officially be at the halfway mark of the final season on HBO’s Game of Thrones and just like in season 7, each episode has been better than the previous one. Many watchers of the series have been complaining, I’m not sure why, about the lack of violence thus far. No major deaths. No battles. Welp, all of that is about to change with episode 3 of season 8.

The untitled episode will bring the anticipated Battle of Winterfell, which will be the longest documented battle sequence in television and film history. The series mentioned many of the show’s heroes wouldn’t make it out of battle and the pits of my stomach is telling me Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) is one of those heroes even though I’m hoping with every ounce of me that won’t happen.

Back in early March I posted a YouTube video about my worries for Arya Stark and her chances of surviving the season. My worries have been heighten after episode 2 with things looking up for everyone’s fav.

Arya reunited with her longtime pal Gendry (Joe Dempsie) and consummated their relationship. These two are having a good moment so you know everything is about to hit the fan. Who actually has a good relationship in this show? Gilly and Sam? Grey Worm and Missandei? Yeah we know the twisted and demented show we fell in love with; nobody has a happy ending unfortunately. And that’s why I’m oh so scared for Arya.

I have to get these thoughts out because it is consuming me, but I’ll tell you one thing. I promise I will not watch the rest of the season if Arya dies in this battle.I know all of this is #ForTheThrone, but I don’t think I can watch a world of Westeros where Arya Stark is dead. Just let me know who ends up on the iron throne.
