‘Big Little Lies’ Season 2 Gets Release Date and Official Teaser

The HBO Emmy award winning series Big Little Lies starring Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, and Zoë Kravitz is coming back for an anticipated second season this summer with the official teaser out today.

Deemed “The Monterey Five,” Celeste (Kidman), Jane (Woodley), Madeline (Witherspoon), Bonnie (Kravitz), and Renata (Dern) are trying hard to move on after the death of Perry Wright (Alexander Skarsgård) but are having a hard time keeping their secret with police still asking questions and Perry’s mother, played by Meryl Streep, coming into town wanting to know the truth.

Season 2 of Big Little Lies returns June 9 on HBO.
