Emma Stone and Jonah Hill Go Through Mysterious Pharmaceutical Trial in ‘Maniac’

Just as I suspected. Emma Stone and Jonah Hill are about to give us an extended “Hang the DJ” episode of Black Mirror and I’m here for it.

Stone and Hill star as Annie Landsberg and Owen Milgrim in Cary Joji Fukunaga’s Maniac, coming to Netflix next month. The “Superbad” co-stars play two strangers who are enlisted in a  mysterious pharmaceutical trial which places them in multiple universes for an unknown reason.

The official trailer shows some of those worlds and situations the two visits which appears to spans several decades apart. The limited series comes to Netflix September 21.
