SNL Imagines Royal Wedding Reception In Hilarious Sketch

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exchanged vows over the weekend on Saturday, May 19th, in the UK at Windsor Castle in a lavish display of royalty and genuine love between the couple. Of course it was the topic of discussion throughout the day and pretty much throughout the weekend, so of course Saturday Night Live got in on that action.

In a sketch simply titled “Royal Wedding,” Prince Harry, played by SNL cast member Mikey Day, took viewers inside his wedding reception showing guests how to party like a royal. Cast members like: Cecily Strong, Beck Bennett, Kate McKinnon, and Alex Moffat portrayed members of the royal family with weekend host Tina Fey playing “Auntie Creepy.” Fans of the show enjoyed the clip, but couldn’t get over how SPOT on the costumes in the sketch were given the wedding took place earlier that day. Brilliant job over at 30 Rock.
