Spike Lee is back to lay “some fo’ real, fo’ real sh*t” for movie goers come August depicting the true story of early 1970’s cop Ron Stallworth and how he became the first black man to infiltrate a local Ku Klux Klan (KKK) organization in Colorado Springs in the film “BlacKkKlansman” starring John David Washington and Adam Driver.

Washington plays the lead character Ron Stallworth who is determined to make his mark in his career. Stallworth gets the bold idea of taking down the KKK by disguising himself as a white man on the phone to gain access to the organization then enlisting colleague Flip Zimmerman (Driver) to go undercover as his physical alter ego. It’s a major job that could have a huge pay off or dire consequences.

Watch the trailer for “BlacKkKlansman,” in theaters August 10, 2018, in the clip below. Does this seem like the type of movie you’d check out? Share your thoughts in the comments.
