The year is 2028. The location is Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event? The Pan-Asian Deep Learning Conference and this song should be played very loud.

Justin Timberlake released “Filthy,” the music video and first single off his upcoming fifth studio album Man of the Woods on Friday, Jan. 5th, with an interesting concept. Dressed as if he was about to give a TED Talk, Timberlake takes the stage in front of an eager audience proclaiming “if you know what’s good” and “haters are gonna say it’s fake.” He then heads back off stage and watches as a robot takes center and dances his life away. Often mimicking JT’s moves, the robot is joined by a number of female dancers as he entertains the audience showing just how much he can do.

Not sure if this was the best comeback song for JT after such a long hiatus and I sure hope this isn’t any indication for what his new music will be like because from where I sit now, it’s a no.

Watch Justin Timberlake’s music video for “Filthy” in the clip below. The single is also available  to stream on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer. How did you like the video? Are you feeling the single? Share your thoughts in the comments.
