Winter Is Coming In Mid July – ‘Game Of Thrones’ Gets A Season 7 Premiere Date

On Wednesday, March 8th, fire met ice in the first poster for HBO’s award-winning series Game Of Thrones and on Thursday something even better came for GOT fans: a premiere date and a teaser!

In mid July we’ll get to finally see what happens now that Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) has set sail with her army to claim to the Iron Throne, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) has no more children and has claimed the seat on the Iron Throne, Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) has been named the true King of the North, The Starks (Sophie Turner) have claimed their home back, and so much more! Oh spoiler alert.

The first teaser for the show features the characters making plans that will evolve in the new season all in voice over. Season 7 will be the second to last season since the show has been slated to come to an end in with season 8.

Mark your calendars and set your DVRs; Game Of Thrones season 7 premieres Sunday, July 16th on HBO.
