Get ready to Rock. Sorry I had to do it. Chris Rock is making a return to the Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, to host the 88th annual celebration.
On Twitter, Rock tweeted, “Look who’s back. #Oscars,” and later in a statement said, “I’m so glad to be hosting the Oscars. It’s great to be back.” Rock last hosted the festivities ten years ago in 2005.
The 88th Academy Awards will air on ABC Sunday, February 28, 2016.
