Glambergirl here, your one and only source into the scandalous lives of Hollywood’s elite. Spotted. Chuck Bass giving UESers hope for a Gossip Girl reboot. Ok, that’s out of my system.

Ed Westwick, aka Chuck Bass, is in full press mode promoting his new ABC series Wicked City and stopped by Live! with Kelly and Michael to discuss the show. Of course the hosts could not resist asking the talented, attractive Brit about the possibility of a Gossip Girl reboot. [Gossip Girl, *ahem the best show ever,* ran from 2007-2012 on The CW and told the scandalous mishaps of privileged Upper East Side New York teens with the help of the sassy and unknown blogger known only as Gossip Girl.]

Michael Strahan asked if there could be a possible reboot in which Westwick answered, “Wow, I don’t know about that. We had a lot of fun doing it. You know I love those guys so much, so never say never, but it would be hard to imagine.”

But you can imagine Westwick in Wicked City where he plays the devilishly handsome Kent (sound familiar? Westwick playing a heavily sought after man) who could be part of a notorious team of serial killers who preys on aspiring actresses on the Sunset Strip. Erika Christensen, Taissa Farmiga, Gabriel Luna, and Evan Ross all appear in the show as well. Wicked City premieres Tuesday, Oct 27 at 10:00 PM on ABC.

Watch a clip from Ed Westwick’s appearance on Live! with Kelly and Michael below and share your thoughts in the comments.
