‘Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll’ Cast Heads To ATX Festival + Watch The Brand New Promo [VIDEO]

The cast of FX’s new original comedy series Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll all gathered in Austin, Texas to kick off the weekend at the ATX Television Festival.

Denis Leary, Elizabeth Gillies, Elaine Hendrix, Robert Kelly, and John Ales (minus John Corbett and Josh Pais) ended day one of the festival with the world premiere and a panel discussion about the show.

In a new promo video for SDRR called “Big Time”, finally we get to see most of the cast in action as their characters revealing how Johnny Rock plans to revive his dead rocker group. We get to see just how funny this show is going to be, but most importantly in this new clip the gates of heaven open up and we get to hear a snippet of Liz Gillies singing. Blessings!

Leary plays Johnny Rock, a washed up rocker attempting to make the greatest comeback of all time. With the help of lead singer of The Assassins, his daughter Gigi, played by Gillies (Victorious/“Animal,”), and lead guitar player of The Heathens, Flash, played by Corbett (Sex and the City, United States of Tara); this is probably Johnny Rock’s last chance to make something out of his career. The musical inclined series will have original songs and a 10 episode run.

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll premieres Thursday, July 16 at 10pm on FX
