Elijah Wood and Rainn Wilson star the horror-comedy film “Cooties,” bringing back all those childhood misconceptions you once believed about the viral infection.
Set at an isolated elementary school, a mysterious virus begins to spread “transforming the kids into a feral swarm of mass savages.” In the trailer, throughout the day one by one children contract the virus and the uninfected, some teachers and a few students, band together to overcome the disease. Think what “Zombieland” did for the end of the world theories when you think of “Cooties.” I may cringe every time I say the word but the movie does actually look worth checking out.
Alison Pill, Armani Jackson, Leigh Whannell, Nasim Pedrad, Jack McBrayer, and Jorge Garcia also star in “Cooties,” out in theaters September 18, 2015.
