Janet Jackson Announces New Music and World Tour – LISTEN

Don’t call it a come back but Janet Jackson is giving fans exactly what they’ve been asking for and returning to the music scene after 7 years.

Early Saturday morning On May 16, the same day the singer – actress celebrates her 49th birthday, she announced that she will be releasing new music and that she’s going on a world tour this year. In a video posted to Jackson’s Twitter account she said, “I promised you’d hear it from my lips, and now you will. This year: new music, new world tour, a new movement. I’ve been listening, let’s keep the conversation going,” as mellow music played in the background.

The video was captioned “ConversationsInACafe,” which is rumored to be the title of Jackson’s new album. The last record heard from the younger sister of the late Michael Jackson was Discipline back in 2008. Janet Jackson made headlines when she married billionaire Wissam Al Mana in 2012 and has remained a low profile since then, but with this new music coming she can expect to skyrocket back into the mainstream.
