Big Sean‘s third studio album Dark Sky Paradise is a few days from being released and listening parties for the album has gone bi-coastal.
In the middle of the week, Big Sean, real name Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, had a listening party for the new album in New York City but his LA listening party last night put the other one to shame. Big music names that showed up were Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Jhene Aiko, Pusha T, and Karen Civil.
To be honest, I’m not even a rap fan. I would buy a single that I like from a rapper and my rap album collection includes two: Chingy and T.I., so yeah, you do an assessment on that.
So I surprised myself at how much I really enjoy Dark Sky Paradise. It could be due to my love for Ari and I will support anything she supports, but I really, really like the album. Like I can’t stop listening to it online and can’t wait to own it. I’m in love with Big Sean’s song with Ariana Grande “Research” and the Guy sampled track “Play No Games” featuring Chris Brown and Ty Dolla $ign.
