You’ve seen the cover, possibly, of Kim Kardashian West covering the September issue of LOVE magazine, with advance copies available, but now excerpts of the interview she did for the mag has been released.
On the cover [SEE BELOW], Kardashian West is barely recognizable wearing Prada and leaves little to nothing to the imagination, per usual, throughout her spread. Now don’t get me wrong, the human body, specifically the female body is a beautiful thing to look at, but damn Kimmie we know you got a great bod yet we’re a bit tired of seeing it as much as Kanye does, geesh. Anyway, back to the article, Kim talks about that infamous sex tape with her ex-boyfriend Ray J that some think launched her career. “If I do have one regret in life that’s it,” she told LOVE. She added comments to people who feel that’s how she got famous saying, “Maybe that’s how some people heard of me but I didn’t launch my career off of that. That was 12 years ago, no 13 years ago, so I just try to move on and put it in the past because I think everyone in life does things that they’re not proud of but you can’t sit and dwell on them forever.”
Kim Kardashian West also offers her insights on haters of her reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians and the many spin-offs. “We’ve had more episodes than ‘I Love Lucy!’ And I’m proud that we give so many people jobs. Like, our lighting guy handing me a key chain last season and said, ‘I just want to thank you — I’ve worked for you guys for eight seasons and you helped me buy a house.’ So I get a little bit frustrated at people not understanding. Like when they ask, ‘What do you do?’ I mean, what an uneducated question! And I just want to help change the perception that being on a reality show is such a negative thing.”
Of course Mrs. West gushed about her husband and “best stylist” Kanye West. “He’s learned to be a little bit more calm. We have a really calm family life,” she told the mag. She then added comments on Kanye’s take on her old clothing, “I was obsessed with glitter, rhinestone heels and the kind of clothes that I now laugh at, and [West] threw them all out. I said, ‘Well I’m going to save them for my daughter one day.’ And he said, ‘Well if it’s going to our daughter, she never going to wear those!'”
“Kanye always says, ‘Dress sexier.’ He’s always encouraging,” Kardashian West concluded, “Even better I like nudity.”
