It’s Over Officially: Nick Cannon Files For Divorce From Mariah Carey

It’s official, Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are getting a divorce, but sadly we all knew this day would come since the two have been living very separate lives over the past year.

According to TMZ, Cannon filed for divorce back on December 12, around the same time there were rumors Carey showed up 3 hours late to a holiday performance in New York City because she was on the phone with her lawyers handling all her assets before the divorce was filed.

In a prenuptial agreement TMZ got their hands on a confidentiality clause requires Nick Cannon to pay Carey $250,000 if he talks to the media. Carey must pay $500,000 to Cannon is she talks.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon married in 2008 and welcomed their set of twins Moroccan and Monroe Cannon, in 2011.
