Over the weekend Solange Knowles married her longtime boyfriend Alan Ferguson in New Orleans surrounded by family and friends.
Solange’s older sister, Beyoncé, was in attendance with her family, Jay Z and Blue Ivy, along with mother of the bride, Tina Knowles, with her boyfriend Richard Lawson, and of course Solange’s son Daniel Julez J. Smith, Jr., from her previous marriage to Daniel Smith, was there.
The all white theme weekend started with a wedding rehearsal celebration on Saturday. Guests went to the Indywood Cinema and watched a film retelling how the bride and groom met, *swoon*. The guests then watched the 1975 film “Mahogany,” a movie starring Diana Ross that the couple saw on their first date.
The blissful weekend concluded with the nuptials on Sunday. Solange’s wedding party included familiar faces like Beyoncé, Janelle Monae, and Solange’s cousin Angie Beyince.
