Thank You Zac Efron: Rob Pattinson Takes ALS Ice Bucket Challenge [VIDEO]

Robert Pattinson made a rare social media appearance to complete the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and first I want to thank Zac Efron for passing the challenge on to him.

Allow me to give you a brief background on what exactly is going on. ALS, aka “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” is a disease that affects nerve brain cells and the spinal cord. In an attempt to raise awareness a challenge has been placed to dump a bucket of ice water on your head or donate $100. Why ice water? It is said to be the almost exact feeling of how it feels to have ALS.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has gone viral in the celebrity world with the likes of: Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Kevin Hart, Gabrielle Union, James Franco, Selena Gomez, Lebron James, Ben Affleck, Justin Beiber, Chris Pratt, Jimmy Fallon, The Roots, Zendaya, Lady Gaga and more who have participated in the viral sensation to raise awareness and funds for ALS. Many have dumped the ice water on their heads and donated money to ALS research.

After Zac Efron took the challenge with “High School Musical” pal Ashley Tisdale, he nominated my boo Robbie, Matthew McConaughey and Eric The Actor. Since Robbie isn’t on social media, Efron shared his moment on his YouTube and Instagram page.
