You know it’s real when show creator Ryan Murphy tweets it!

After a very long time for us avid American Horror Story fans, the first official teaser for the fourth season of the anthology series is here. If you don’t know, the theme for this season is Freak Show.

On Wednesday, Ryan Murphy tweeted, “Get your tickets now for the Freak Show. Coming in October,” along with a video teaser. [SEE BELOW] It’s brief and I mean “blink and you’ll miss it” brief, but it’s just what you need to know that the new season of American Horror Story is near.

American Horror Story: Freak Show premieres Wednesday, October 8 on FX.
