James Franco Addresses Teenage Girl Scandal on “Live! With Kelly and Michael” [VIDEO]

Unless you’ve been living under a rock in regards to pop culture, I’m sure you are well aware of the hot water actor James Franco has found himself in.

Let me give you a quick background, a private conversation leaked online Franco had with a 17-year-old girl named Lucy who he attempted to hook up with after meeting her during a fan encounter. Franco was really trying to hook up with the girl.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: DID JAMES FRANCO REALLY ATTEMPT TO HOOK UP WITH A 17-YEAR-OLD-GIRL?

On Friday morning, April 4, Franco appeared on Live! With Kelly and Michael and took the time during his interview to address the situation honestly.

“I was feeling awkward, I didn’t want to come on the show and just feel awkward…I’m embarrassed, and I guess I’m just a model of how social media is tricky. It’s way that people meet each other today, but what I’ve learned, I guess because I’m new to it…is you don’t know who’s on the other end,” the “Of Mice and Men” actor said.

Franco continued, “You get a feel for them, you don’t know who you’re talking to. I used bad judgment and I learned my lesson.”

Kelly Ripa, Michael Strahan and Franco continued to discuss how being in a high-profile position makes hooking up much harder and situations like this much worst.
