The King of Pop may be gone but definitely not forgotten for his music still lives on.
On Monday, Michael Jackson‘s estate and Epic Records announced a new album, executive produced by L.A. Reid, called XSCAPE. The album will feature eight never-before-heard tracks produced by Timbaland.
In a statement Reid said, “Modern music and artistry would look and sound completely different if not for the groundbreaking contributions Michael Jackson gifted to the world. Michael left behind some musical performances that we take great pride in presenting through the vision of music producers that he either worked directly with or expressed strong desire to work with.”
He concluded, “We are extremely proud and honored to present this music to the world.”
Michael Jackson’s XSCAPE album will be available for pre-order on Tuesday, April 1 and released on May 13.
