‘Twilight’ Actress Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald Divorcing – Read The Statement

After three years of marriage “Twilight” actress Nikki Reed and American Idol top 13 contestant Paul McDonald have decided to end their marriage.

Three weeks ago, the couple celebrated their anniversary and Reed seemed really happy in the relationship. She posted a photo of the time the two met during a “Red Riding Hood” premiere with the caption, “Hey McD, happy 3 year anniversary! Here’s to many more of those awkward hugs and butterflies. I am endlessly amazed by your spirit, kindness, and talent. Your soul is one of a kind. Love ya babe.”

How quickly things can change.

Reed’s rep told People, “After much consideration, Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald are ending their marriage. They have been living separately for the past six months due to work obligations.”

The rep continues, “They will continue to share their love of music, and are still working on their debut album, I’m Not Falling, releasing in 2014. They remain best friends and look forward to their continued journey together.”

The couple met and married in 2011.
