13 Days of Glamberween kicks off now! Now until Halloween, October 31st duh, I will be giving Halloween inspired content along with your perfect mix of pop culture news.

One particular stream of posts will highlight 13 of my favorite horror films. I chose these 13 films because they either literally frightened me or I really just enjoy them. The first film, “Killer Klowns From Outer Space.”

What’s It About
Killer Klowns From Outer Space” is a “horror” film from 1988 about clowns from outer space that invade a small town; simple as that.

Why It Made My List
OK one thing to know about me and this film and is I had and have reoccurring nightmares with every viewing of this movie and to this day is why I dislike clowns. Now looking at this film from the premise alone it seems like a comedy; even on the IMDb page “Killer Klowns From Outer Space” is cited as a comedy along with being a horror/sci-fi film. With all this in mind the sight of those damn clowns is still scary; especially that big fat one and tall skinny one.

Throughout the film Mike (Grant Cramer) and Debbie (Suzanne Snyder) are trying to warn the town about the invasion of clowns as they wreak havoc by killing town people either by wrapping them in cotton candy cocoons and drinking their bloods with crazy straws or with killer puppets. At certain moments it’s funny I admit but I just can’t get past those creepy faces. It still frightens me at 25 so that’s why it made my list.

Why You Should Watch It
You should watch this movie because I know it’s on the list of classic 80’s films or horror films in general. I don’t want you all left out by not seeing it. This film will definitely have you thinking twice about clowns.

If you saw “Killer Klowns From Outer Space” tell me if you feel the same way I do; if not get on Netflik’s now and watch it so we can discuss! Until then watch this clip from the film below.
