Jennifer Hudson Plays An Addict in ‘The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete’ [TRAILER]

Audiences will see another side of Oscar award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson in the coming of age film “The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete.”

Hudson plays Gloria, a drug addict who is sent to jail leaving two young boys, Mister (Skylan Brooks) and Pete (Ethan Dizon), to defend for themselves in the streets of New York City.

Anthony Mackie, Jeffrey Wright, and Jordin Sparks also star in the film.

“The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete” will be in theaters October 11.
