Jennifer Lopez has been in the entertainment industry for a very long time and now she’s finally being recognized for her outstanding achievements in the industry by landing a star on the Hollywood walk of fame.

Lopez was honored by actors Keenen Ivory Wayans, the guy responsible for making her a flygirl in Living Color, and Jane Fonda, Jenny from the block’s “Monster-In-Law” co-star. “Selena” director Gregory Nava was also there to help Jennifer Lopez celebrate as well as her 5-year-old twins Max and Emme and boyfriend Casper Smart.

The monumental event was almost too much for the girl from the south side Bronx to handle; she choked back tears as she gave a speech celebrating not only her star but the 2,500 star on the walk of fame.

Jennifer said, “You realize you’ve been at this for a long time and you’ve been fighting and getting it.” She continued, “It’s a real kind of landmark day for me and I am just glad my family was here to share it with me.”

I honestly love JLo, she seems so down to Earth and still a sweetie after all these years of fame! Congrats Jenny, well deserved.
